HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The number one question we get asked 95% of the time when a new client contacts us is, how much will this cost?

And the answer is, it depends. It depends on so many variables that it's really hard for us to give you an idea of the cost upfront. And the last thing we want to do is give you a price upfront only to find out down the track that it pushes your budget till you are broke!

IT'S LIKE BUYING A CAR

When you walk into a car dealership, you can choose between a car that is second hand and costs you $15,000. Or you could buy that brand new red sports car that will cost you over $200,000. A design and build project is the same.

A 200 square meter kitchen renovation can cost $20,000 or $100,000. It depends on how expensive you want to go.

$15,000 Car Vs $200,000 Car - Both do a good job of getting you from point A to point B

THE DEVIL IS IN THE DETAIL

The final cost will depend on so many variable factors. Factors that can increase or decrease the cost of your project include but are not limited to;

-    The type of fixtures you choose

-    The finishing materials

-    The quality of the products used

-    The size and space of your project

-    What the conditions are like at the site before building, is it a new build, or an existing build.

-    The accessibility of your project, are you building on a flat site with parking nearby, or on a remote island in BC?

PLANNING, PLANNING, PLANNING

The success of any construction project is detailed planning and preparation. And that is what we specialize in at Rodrozen Design + Build. We have been in the construction industry since 2002 and have extensive experience managing projects of all sizes. Our project coordinator and designers work together to ensure that your project comes to life. And the key to making it come to life is with a detailed plan.

REALISM

The final thing that we find helps the most for our clients, is having a realistic budget in mind. Sometimes this changes depending on how the ideas are created with our designers. But for the most part, it's useful to keep things realistic budget-wise and work from there. We also find it very useful from the get-go to know what budget you have in mind. That way we can work within your parameters.
