Derick is the heart and creative director of Rodrozen Design + Build. Over 20 years of experience designing contemporary, creative and luxurious spaces that feel alive! Derick’s unique approach to design is unparalleled and he time and time again wows clients with his creative and detailed approach. 

Every design is custom-tailored to suit our client’s lifestyle and needs, both for now and in the future. Derick finds the perfect balance and harmony of form and functionality, with an added touch of luxury and surprise.

Steven Rodrozen

CEO

Steven is the brains behind Rodrozen Design + Build. Bringing together the team and ensuring the business of construction keeps moving full steam ahead. Steven brings the strategic direction and financial management of the business together, working in the background to make it all happen. 

Being a CEO of a small firm, Steven is a jack of all trades, making sure the team is functioning well, ensuring the coffee machine is working and feeding Mason plenty of treats.

Rose

Senior Designer & CAD Master



Rose is our incredibly creative and technical Master of Interior Design and building. Rose is the genius behind everything from drawings, plans, 3D modelling and renders to permits for city hall and strata. Rose has a level of technical perfection when creating designs that match the high standard of detail that Rodrozen Design + Build is known for.

For our clients, they get to see Rose’s stunning designs come to life with our 3D walkthroughs that bring to life the vision of our lead designer.

Matt

Project Coordinator

Hailing from Perth, Australia, Matt brings the Aussie twang to the Rodrozen team, driving forward our projects daily, wrangling trades and gathering quotes for our budgets.

Matt brings a bank of building knowledge with experience both 'on the tools' and also in construction project management here and internationally. You can often find him on site, never afraid to get his pants dirty, much to the humour of Derick.

Justin

Book Keeper



Ruler of numbers, excel genius, project management software wizard, tax master, monthly-quarterly-annual filing machine, reports enthusiast and banking expert! Keeps the budgets tight, AR / AP tight, and keeps telling us ‘it’s expensive!

Justin is usually the friendly voice at the other end of the phone when you contact us.

Andy

Marketing Director

Our resident ‘kiwi’, Andy also comes from the South Pacific, this time on the other side of the ‘ditch’, New Zealand. Luckily Andy comes with a slightly easier to understand accent compared to Matt and Eoin!

Andy plays the one-man band marketing machine at Rodrozen, doing everything from running this website, creating our marketing emails, and blogs, creating all the amazing video content, photographing our projects, completing our award submissions, Google Ads, and analytics through to designing all our graphics and printing.

Mason

Corporate Muse

Mason is our resident majestic Siberian Husky. Often found spending quality time sleeping in the front of the office, Mason is known for his unique personality that often involves barking demands for treats or food several times a day. He also brings a welcoming energy and greats everyone at the front door with a smile.

Being a Siberian Husky, Mason LOVES walking and playing outside, by far his happiest place is any opportunity to cool down, wether that's taking a dip in the ocean or rolling around in the snow in winter.

And any other time he is often seen walking the streets of Vancouver, where he receives plenty of compliments on his beauty. Mason has many k9 friends who visit him and you will often see them in the showroom, Shimba, Kona and Tiko!

EOIN

Resident Landscaper



Hailing from Belfast, Ireland, Eoin has a brilliantly thick Northern Irish accent, ask him for a pale ale and you will see why.

Our resident soft landscaper has a love for all things green. Eoin's happy place is in the garden and that shows with his love and equally important understanding of plants, how they grow over time, their synergy and optimal conditions, especially for our Vancouver climate.

Eoin works with our Lead Designer Derick to come up with stunning garden options for any of our homeowners looking for low-maintenance green spaces, both interior and exterior.
